How to mail a letter ChatGPT or Claude wrote for you
The assistant finishes the letter and the job stops there. It cannot print, it cannot buy postage, and it cannot stand in line at the Post Office. Piloxa is the step after the draft: paste the letter, check the address, see one total, and it is printed and mailed as USPS Certified Mail with a tracking number and, if you want it, the signature of whoever accepted it.

The short version
- Ask your assistant to finish the letter, and to give it to you as plain text you can copy.
- Open Piloxa and sign in with your email address. A link is sent to you; there is no password to invent.
- Press Prepare my letter, then Paste the letter text. Fill in who it is from and who it goes to.

Why the assistant cannot do this part itself
An assistant writes text. Mailing a letter is a physical act with money attached: paper, postage, a carrier, and a Postal Service record that has to be bought at the moment of mailing. No assistant can perform it on its own, and no honest service lets one try. What an assistant can do is prepare the mailing and hand you a link. A person still reads the exact document and authorizes the payment. That is deliberate: a letter that goes out because a model misread an instruction is not a mistake anyone can take back.
It also means no service can reach into your chat and pull the letter out. Whatever you paste, upload, or ask a connected assistant to hand over is all Piloxa ever sees. Any site claiming it can read your ChatGPT conversation on its own is claiming something no assistant permits.

Before you paste: four things worth checking
- The recipient’s legal name and the right address. For a company, that is often the registered agent, which your Secretary of State lists for free. A letter to the wrong entity proves nothing.
- Dates and amounts. Assistants are confident about numbers they were never given. Read every figure in the letter against your own records.
- Any law the letter cites. If the draft names a statute or a deadline, check it, or have a lawyer read the letter. Piloxa mails and documents; it does not check the law for you.
- Your return address. It is printed on the envelope, and a returned letter comes back to it.

Common questions
Can ChatGPT mail a letter for me?
Not on its own. It can write the letter, and it can prepare a mailing through a connector such as Piloxa, but a person has to read the exact document and authorize the payment before anything is printed. The simplest path needs no connector at all: copy the letter out of the chat and paste it into Piloxa.
Do I need a printer?
No. The letter is printed and enveloped by a printing partner and handed to USPS. You never handle paper.
Can Piloxa read my chat?
No. Nothing reaches Piloxa except what you paste, the file you attach, or what a connected assistant hands over when you tell it to. There is no way for any website to read a private conversation with an assistant.
Which assistants can hand the letter over directly?
Any assistant that accepts a custom connector: Claude, ChatGPT in developer mode, Gemini custom apps, Perplexity and Grok. Claude and ChatGPT have been tested end to end, including handing over a finished PDF. The capability table says which paths were actually exercised and which were not.
What proof do I get that it was mailed?
The USPS tracking number, the tracking events as USPS reports them, the electronic return receipt with the signature if you chose that service, and the exact PDF that was printed with its fingerprint. The sample record shows what it looks like, including what can be missing and why.
Is this legal advice?
No. Piloxa executes and documents the mailing. What the letter says is yours, or your lawyer’s. When a deadline or a lawsuit is involved, have a lawyer read it first.
